Why It's Different From a Basic Cone or Earmuff
Plastic cones and stiff earmuffs fight your dog rather than calming them. The Dog Ear Wrap uses a compression-based design that lays the ears flat and applies gentle, even pressure — closer to a mother's soothing touch than a restraint — while also physically dampening sound during grooming, fireworks, thunderstorms, and vet visits.
| Basic Cone / Earmuff | Dog Ear Wrap | |
|---|---|---|
| Fit | Rigid, often ill-fitting | Soft, stretchable, adjustable Velcro strap |
| Noise reduction | Minimal to none | 3-layer polyester + neoprene construction dampens sound |
| Comfort | Restrictive, often distressing | Gentle constant pressure, quiet-release Velcro |
| Use cases | Post-surgery only | Grooming, storms, fireworks, travel, vet visits |
Overview
- Compression-Based Calming — gentle, constant pressure across the ears mimics a calming hold, helping soothe anxious, sensitive, or reactive dogs.
- Noise-Dampening Build — a three-layer polyester and SBR neoprene composite reduces the impact of loud, sudden, or continuous noise.
- Quiet-Release Velcro — an adjustable strap that produces far less tearing sound than standard Velcro, so putting it on doesn't add to the stress.
- Soft, Stretchable Fabric — double-layered material that's breathable and flexible, designed for repeated wear without irritation.
- 3 Sizes, 3 Colours — Small, Medium, and Large in Blue, Grey, and Rose Red, to fit most dog breeds.
Size Guide
Sizing is based on neck circumference and adjusts via the Velcro strap. As a rough guide: Small suits toy and small breeds (e.g. Chihuahua, Yorkshire Terrier), Medium suits small-to-medium breeds (e.g. Cocker Spaniel, Beagle), and Large suits medium-to-large breeds (e.g. Labrador, German Shepherd). If in doubt, size up — the wrap is very stretchy and a four-finger-gap fit is ideal.
