How to measure

All you need is a soft tape measure, or a piece of string and a ruler. Do it while your cat is relaxed and standing.

Measure the neck

Wrap the tape around the neck where a collar would sit. This is the neck girth.

Measure the chest

Wrap the tape around the chest, just behind the front legs, at the widest point. This is the chest girth.

Compare with the chart

Find the size where both your measurements fall inside the ranges in the chart below.

→ Measure in cm or inches, and don't pull the tape tight. Go by measurements rather than breed or weight.
