Calming Vest Size Guide
Peek4Paws · Calming Vest for Dogs
Measure three things, not the weight
This vest comes in 7 sizes, XS through XXXL, matched to your dog's neck, chest and back length rather than a weight guess. Here's how to measure, and the full size chart.
How to measure
You'll need a soft tape measure and a couple of minutes. Let your dog stand naturally, and keep the tape snug but not tight.
Neck
Wrap the tape all the way around the base of the neck, where a regular collar would sit.
Chest
Measure around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.
Back length
Measure along the spine from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
Size chart
Compare all three measurements with the chart before choosing a size. The vest should sit snugly without restricting breathing or movement.

Common questions
My dog is between two sizes. Which do I pick?
Go by the chest measurement first, as that's where the vest applies its pressure. It should feel snug without restricting breathing or movement. If you're unsure, email us your three measurements.
Should I go by my dog's weight or breed?
No. Dogs of the same weight or breed can have very different builds, so use the three measurements above.
